Conflict Management

Mediation is a structured, voluntary procedure for the constructive settlement of a conflict, in which independent “all-party” third parties accompany the conflict parties in their solution process. The parties to the conflict, also known as medians, try to reach a common agreement that meets their needs and interests.
The impartial third party (a mediator or a mediator team in co-mediation) does not make any own decisions regarding the conflict, but is only responsible for the procedure. Depending on the orientation of the mediation, whether and in what form a mediator himself makes suggestions for content.
